The girls are home!

Well, the hospital allowed us to take Sloane home!  Wow, what a feeling!  JJ and Sloane are getting settled in and finding the groove with the help of Grandma and Grandpa Suitter. Grandma Shary will be out to help us next week, all of which we are very thankful for!

JJ and Sloane are home!

Here are a few more pictures from the hospital of our beautiful new addition!  JJ and Sloane came home Tuesday afternoon.  Sloane slept well her first night at home, in fact we had to wake her up to feed her at midnight, 4AM and 6AM!  JJ is feeling better and happy to be home.

Sunday October 26, 2008, at 4:49 PM, JJ gave birth to our lovely daughter!  She was 7 pounds and 1 ounce and measured 19 3/4" long.  JJ's water broke at 3:30 on Saturday while Phil was teeing off  on number 12 at Crane Creek and we arrived at the hospital at 4:30 that day.  It was a long 24 hours but worth every minute!  Updates soon to follow!

What we did on our summer vacation...

Well, we've been busy this year preparing for as-yet-unnamed-Baby Winters. Phil and I have been trying to fit everything in that we possibly could have before Fall arrived. So far this year, we:

Went to Cabo San Lucas with our friends Don and Laura Peterson

JJ finally got to see Brad Paisley in concert

We found out we're going to be parents
We hit the slopes often


We went to New York
We went to Kauai
We went to Florida and saw the space shuttle launch
We got to spend time in Naples, too
We hung out at our cabin in McCall ALOT
Phil learned all about cows on Grandma and Grandpa Longhursts farm
We flew to Friday Harbor and hung out with Vaughn, Katie and Bentley Olson on their boat
We golfed everywhere and anytime we could
Phil caught his first fish on a dry fly in Challis
We went to Yellowstone Park
We hung out with family

Meanwhile JJ got bigger and bigger
And our other babies just watched all the commotion
Yep, it's been a fun year for us and we can't wait for the next chapter in our lives!
