We need spring already!
So it's been awhile since I've updated the blog but not much has been going on. It's still winter here so we've been cooped up and not out doing much. When it warms up a bit, we try to get outside and ride in the new wagon (thanks grandma and grandpa Suitter!) or we go to the park. Riding around on the airplane in the house is fun but just too limited! Here are some fun pics for you!

Winter
The holidays are over and it's nice to be settled in for the winter. For those of you who didn't know, we are expecting our second child due on July 4th and it's been a rough couple of months. Since I'm not sick anymore, we've been getting out and seeing friends, going to the cabin, eating and cooking again (much to Phil's relief.) We got Sloane her first sled and took her for a spin at the cabin - she loved it! We also visited Vaughn and Katie Olson and got to see Dave and Nancy and little Axel and Bentley! Here's to a great new year off to a good start!

Christmas in Florida!
This year, we spent Christmas in Naples at Grandma and Grandpa Dyer's house there. It was so much warmer than Boise! Santa Claus came and gave Sloane some wonderful gifts and there was so much to eat and do! The highlight was the beach on Christmas Day on the Gulf of Mexico. We went with Great Uncle Al and Pat McFall, who were visiting for the day. Sloane loved the sand and getting her feet wet in the waves that washed up on shore. Mom and Dad had a great time golfing!!

Thanksgiving
We spent Thanksgiving in Idaho Falls this year. It was nice to get away and see Grandma and Grandpa Suitter. We didn't do much but eat. We took Sloane down to the river to feed the ducks (since she is the grand duck mistress now) and she had a blast despite the cold weather. There are literally hundreds of ducks along the greenbelt that start waddling over to your car as soon as you park because they know what comes next. Sloane did great and loved seeing all of them and chasing them around!

Our family pictures

When Sloane finally turned one, we decided to have our family pictures taken. Dannie Frost of A Time to Remember Photography was the very talented lady who took our photos at beautiful Kathryn Albertson Park in Boise. The weather was gorgeous, the leaves were turning and Sloane was...well, she was pretty cooperative. Enjoy!
She's walking!
It happened just like that - last week, Sloane just walked all the way across the living room and into the hallway and she never looked back. She's been upright ever since!
Of course we captured her first steps on film!!
