Julie's Wedding

The wedding was so beautiful! It was on the beach, at sunset with Julie and Jesse's closest friends and family. Sloane was there in the Bob stroller and enjoyed every moment, being toodled by everyone within arms reach. There were big fireworks at dark and Sloane didn't even get scared! Mexico was a great time and Sloane is a great little traveler!

Puerto Vallarta!

It was Sloane's first international trip - to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for her Auntie Julie's wedding. Passports in hand, we departed. Turns out, Sloane loves the Mexican beaches. The warm, humid air on her skin was welcome and she frolicked with Dad, Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Great-Grandma and Great-Granpa and Aunts and Uncles and friends by the pool, on the beach and strolling along the marina.

With all the eager babysitters around, Mom and Dad got to do a little golfing at Puerto Vallarta Marina golf course. Mom had never golfed with crocodiles before - it gave new meaning to the term "water hazard."

Sloane's first airplane ride!!

What a great way to fly your first airplane ride - in a Pilatus, of course - direct from Boise to Jackson Hole, WY with Daddy flying, 2 aunts and a planeload of girlfriends! It was a ski trip to remember! Jackson was a girls weekend but Phil was on hand as full time nanny, chauffer and pilot. While the girls snowboarded at Jackson Hole, Phil took Sloane in her baby bjorn shopping in Teton Village and downtown Jackson by themselves. He jokes that it is a great way to meet girls :) He also chauffered the big 15 passenger van and drove us around, dropped us off and picked us up from wherever it was we were at. Sloane is such a great traveler and has tons of fun (and attention) wherever she goes. Although she was denied access at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar because she isn't 21, (only 21 more years to go!) we all had a great time all over Jackson!

Sloane's first Christmas!!

It was Sloane's first Christmas! We spent it in Idaho Falls with Grandma and Grandpa Suitter. It snowed almost every day, making it a very festive and cozy white Christmas. Sloane got tons of great presents and after the unwrapping of the gifts, the boys went outside to do boy stuff like light fires and shoot guns. The next day, Phil, JJ and Julie went snowboarding at Kelly Canyon with 13 new fresh fluffy inches! The rest of the time was spent by the fire or with the rest of the family. It was a very memorable first!

Who doesn't love a good pair of bunny slippers?

Grandma Shary gave Sloane this little outfit with the bunnies - complete with bunny slippers! They truly are the cutest things you have ever seen... They fit good - still a little big - but we wear them around the house and sometimes even when we go out on the town. Today we had to go to work and it was only 18 degrees outside - cold to many but perfect bunny slipper weather to us!

Santa Claus brunch at Crane Creek..

Each year, Crane Creek Country Club hosts a Santa Claus brunch for families who want to come and meet Santa and have their picture taken. It's a rather festive and joyous occasion - we gave Sloane a bath and put her in a nice dress with tights and a bow and off we went. We met Auntie Ashley and Uncle Spencer there because Daddy is in New York for Uncle Stan's funeral. Sloane was so cute - until she met Santa and decided that she didn't like it one bit! Don't worry baby, next year you will!! We even tried twice to get a nice first picture with Santa - Oh well.
